Technical Account Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Own all technical aspects of a client's relationship
• Administer the partner integration and go-live processes, including project managing systems integration between partners, third parties
• Architect and lead day-to-day technical servicing through coordination of resources from our global technical teams; act as the primary technical point of contact for partners and hold ultimate responsibility for all technical matters
• Provide ongoing technical consultation to optimize partners’ technical payment flow infrastructure.
• Provide technical payment thought leadership to partners including optimization of approval rates, acceptance expense, shopper-to-buyer conversion, and interchange qualification; monitor processing activity through partner implementations to ensure optimal performance
• Translate industry mandates, spec changes, and the like into customized, actionable project plans with partners; project manages recertification work between partners, third parties .
• Act as the voice of the customer to elevate partner technical and solution needs and to third parties; act as partners’ chief technical advocate
• Understand the business objectives of key partners and assist partners in aligning with available technologies


Qualifications


• Minimum 5 years experience in the Fintech and POS industry
• 3+ years’ experience successfully managing and expanding strategic client relationships in the merchant payments industry from a technical perspective
• Experience working within the software development frameworks (such as Agile or Scrum) typically utilized by large organizations
• Mastery of technical concepts within the payment's domain; experience with the programming languages, web application stacks, hosting platforms, and deployment environments commonly used in the payment's domain
• Success working in fast-paced environments leveraging modern account management tools and methodologies
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills; fluency in English; strong interpersonal skills and industry presence/gravitas
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to audiences at all levels of technical understanding
• Excellent presentation skills and experience
