 Function: Data Engineer, Robotic Process Automation & Project Manager
 Context: In a digital transformation phase, Fluxys is looking to modernize its business capabilities
 Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of RPA solutions and the Smart Data Factory program
 Methodologies: Agile/Scrum using sprints through sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint
reviews and sprint retro.
 Technologies: R, UIPath, Python, Git, CI/CD, Azure, Terraform, Docker & Kubernetes, Data
Warehouse design & implementation using Star and Snowflake Schema in TimeXtender,
Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power Automate, Power BI, DAX...
2. June 2019 – March 2021

 Function: Delivery Manager
 Context: Allow digital signature of documents to the market
 Responsibilities: The mission was to help sales in their pre-sales phase to acquire new clients.
Once acquired, I had to manage the client by identifying its needs and formalizing them. Then,
proceed with interviews to comply with all internal constraints and policies required to implement
the signing software setup in the client's ecosystem. After this phase, I had to identify
customizations steps and/or new features required to fulfill the client's needs. I had to identify the
internal and external resources to implement it and foremost negotiate the budget with the client.
Then, I had to discuss the planning with the client for the execution of the project. During
execution, reports had to be provided to management and the client. I had to participate in
steering committees and drive the project daily. Once finished, I produced a report stating the pros
and cons of the execution of the project. The target clients were BNP Paribas, la Poste, PWC & EY
in Luxembourg but also EDF and ENEDIS in Paris.
 Methodologies: Agile/Scrum using sprints through sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint
reviews and sprint retro.
 Technologies: PKI, eIDAS, security, networking, API, Java, Databases... Project Management
following Agile methodology, Jira, Confluence.

3. May 2007- June 2019: Technical Expert & Senior System Expert, Royal Bank of
Canada
 Function: Senior System Expert (Luxembourg)
 Context: RBC provides a large number of services to its clients using different IT applications
and it needs to invoice them.
 Responsibilities: My role was to concentrate data from all departments/services/IT
applications to the invoicing system to allow invoice production. It implied creation,
integration, execution and documentation of procedures allowing data extraction,
transformation.
 Methodologies: Agile/Scrum using sprints through sprint planning, daily scrum meetings,
sprint reviews and sprint retro.
 Technologies: R, UIPath, Oracle & Ms SQL Server, VB, Ms Office tools.
 Function: Technical Expert (Luxembourg)
 Context: RBC provides security distribution platform to its clients.
 Responsibilities: I participated in various activities around the development (db design,
PL/SQL, java development and architecture design), migration from the previous system (data
& workflow definition), roll-out and technical problem resolution.

4. Jun 2006 - Apr 2007: Senior Consultant, ASGARD consulting S.A.
 Function: Senior Consultant (Luxembourg)
 Responsibilities: I have been involved in different studies. The task was to evaluate the impact
and problems caused by new European financial regulations on information systems: SEPA &
MIFID. I also created service offers and commercial offers for clients and prospects. I
revamped the ASGARD website.

5. Nov 2002 – May 2006: Middleware Development Team Leader, Isabel SA
The Royal Bank of Canada is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the
largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 16 million clients and
has 86,000+ employees worldwide.
ASGARD consulting S.A. is a management and IT consultancy company based in Luxembourg
and focused on the financial sector.



 Function: Middleware Development Team Leader (Brussels)
 Context: The existing solution was windows fat client. Isabel needed to provide a web solution
for all services provided.
 Responsibilities: I had to manage a team of 4 developers. This included resource management
over different projects, definition of dev. quality standards for the team. I created job
descriptions, objectives and training plans. I also evaluated team members according to their
defined objectives.
The team I headed was responsible for:
o Creation of database models (E/R analysis with ER Studio from Embarcadero) and
implementation of them on Oracle 9i
o Develop & Unit test Web Applications in Java
o Performance testing of Db implementations and of applications hosted on WebSphere
servers

6. Dec 2000 – Aug 2002: Software & Db Designer/Project Manager, Customer
Dialogue Systems
 Function : Technical architect & Performance analyst (Leuven)
 Context: CDS’ softwares were windows fat clients, it needed to provide web based.
 Responsibilities: I had to manage a team, plan projects and budget them. But on the technical
side, I had to
o improve the overall software architecture design,
o update and automate the database Model (E/R analysis) to implemented instances
o create mapping objects between the Db tables and the java world with Webgain’s
TopLink
o Execute Technical Design reviews

7. Nov 1997 – Nov 2000: Technical Advisor / CT Owner, Euroclear Operation Center
(JP Morgan Group)
With Isabel, Access more than 25 banks and payment institutions in Belgium. You can do all
your transactions on all your account with all your banks. No more having to log on to three or
more different programs to do your banking online.
Customer dialogue Systems is a Software house specialized in financial services helping its
client to manage their assets.



 Function: Technical Advisor / CT Owner (Brussels)
 Context: In Euroclear’s Corporate Technology department, new technologies were emerging,
and an evaluation was required.
 Responsibilities: I had to:
o Evaluation of development framework to be used internally
o Helping developers to use such framework
o Help design the application architecture
o Analyze and provide solution to software workload footprint on machines
o Execute Technical Design reviews & code reviews
o Organize and plan of technical software development training

8. Jul 1995 – Oct 1997: Analyst & Developer, Citibank Belgium
 Function: Analyst and Developer (Brussels)
 Context: In Citibank’s Technology department, development on AS/400 and Windows
 Responsibilities: I had to:
o Creation and maintenance of development framework
o Development of Windows Client software (in Visual Basic & COM)
o Development of AS/400 Server software in COCOL
o Development of the Ms Windows NT server configuration
o Organization of the Rollout of the NT servers and the application.
o Test management
o Training and coaching of the Citibank Helpdesk
o Education and support of the 3rd party teams that should execute the rollout.
