• In the Integration Team I was in charge to design and implement the System Management for the products eAdapter,IMPART FTF,Data Secure for MQ and MQSeries 5.2 . The foundation product for system management was Tivoli, we used Manager for MQ, Log adapter, Enterprise Console, Distributed Monitoring, Desktop, MQ monitor collection.

• In a SYSPLEX environment, With the system team we implement shared queue as a part of the system mangement design to guaranty the availability of the central point of monitoring (OS/390).

• We worked also on the shared inbound channels, to increase the availability of the mainframe for remote connection and workload balancing.

• IBM training on MQSeries Integrator V2

• Hands on role for this first position on MQSeries, I was in charge to install and upgrade MQ 1.2 to MQ 2.1 on OS/390. This was done in respect of the change management procedure and inside the change management window without any fallback.

• An other task was to migrate the MQ Network from CICS mover channels to APPC using as much as possible automated processes, this major change was successfuly completed on a transparent way for the Users. The immediate benefit was to allow the monitoring of the new channels with PATROL and improve the quality of the service.

• We implemented also cluster for reliability and installed Data Secure for MQ to secure the MQ network, It was very interesting to work on Public Key Infrastructure and the way to use it.
